Sally will be ministering today in concert. Come worship with her.

To Tell The Truth
I have been thinking about truth lately and how much it means to me and all the ways I fall short. Little ways where I am less than honest because I don’t want to face the possible repercussions if I actually speak the whole truth. But again, I know I am not alone.
When I call pastors and leaders of churches or congregations and get their voicemail so often the recorded message states they will call me back as soon as they can, or some variation of that. And often they add in the message that my phone call is important to them. Then, of course, very few call back. I have been thinking about truth lately . . .
I always thank those who do respond via email or a phone call, even if it is to say they aren’t interested, because I want to encourage them to continue to respond. It matters. Our human interactions matter. Jesus said we should let our yes be yes and our no be no. In other words, mean what we say and say what we mean.

ATOR, The Home Stretch
Day 8
NOTE: Pray for revelation as we drive out to Kenora in the morning–that God will show us if this is the next place for ATOR.
LURAToday Sally and I went to the hotel and I went through the bar and dining room and patio area giving out roses. There was a native man at the bar. I asked him if I could give him a gift and he was watching TV. So, without looking at me he said “Yes.” I handed him the rose and he said, “Oh, for me? I’ve never had a rose before.” And he looked at it and said it was beautiful. He smelled it and he loved it and he said, “Why?” I said, “Just because we wanted to tell you God loves you.” And he said, “I’m glad somebody loves me.” And I said, “He always does and He always will.” And he said, “I’m glad about that.” Tonight I got to share my testimony in dance before the Lord. It was really awesome. And He gave me some beautiful moves to do. Thank You, Lord, for allowing me to dance. I also got to pray for a lady who wanted to forgive her husband for the sin of pornography. And his uncle she needed to forgive for abuse of his nephew. So we prayed together and asked God to restore their marriage.
A Full Day For ATOR In Fort Frances
SALLY H.
It was a busy day for giving out roses. Our first stop today was Rainy Crest Home for the Aged. I felt like I was in my element. It was like going to our local senior care. Sally did a nice concert and all the while she sang we visited with each and every resident, offering them a rose, finding out their name and praying for them. While some people rested 3 of us went to deliver more roses to the local Safeway.
I met many interesting and grateful people. But my favorite was Betty. She said, “You can remember me. Just think of Betty Boop.” She loves God, knows God, and thinks that ATOR is just the best thing to happen in the area. She asked for a hug and I willingly gave her one.
RACHEL
At the Home for the Aged I met this woman named Vereen and I told her Jesus loves you. And she looked like she was trying to say something and maybe 2 or 3 minutes passed and the only thing she could get out was “no.” She had severe dementia. Yet somehow we were able to laugh together in this place of real joy that was supernatural. And she was singing along with Sally but had no comprehensible language.

ATOR Team Sent To Hospital
Day 6
It’s true. The team was sent to the hospital today. Fortunately, they were on a mission from God and the fruit was evident from the moment they stepped into the parking lot.

I continue to marvel at the goodness of God in including me on this team. So grateful for the flow of praying with and for one another, supporting one another and worshipping together. The team meetings are such rich food for the heart.

ATOR TESTIMONIALS
SALLY H.
Before the “praise service” tonight at the Evangelical Covenant Church of Fort Frances, I and 3 more team members handed out roses INSIDE Walmart! What a great time! Lots of First Nations People accepted roses and I loved the spontaneous hugs they freely gave!
LURA
Was a good day. I saw the man that we requested prayer for his wife, Tammy. His name is Greg. I told him we had prayed for her and he was pleased and asked us to pray for him. He was going for a job interview to change professions. He is hoping to get another job so he doesn’t have to drive truck. My testimony went well and I was able to minister to the young man, Chris again. And we really found some common ground in the grief issue.
Rosefest At The Senior Center
Day 3
On Tuesday the team was busy distributing the roses they had prepared on Monday. They visited the 7 Oaks Senior Center and spread a lot of love around the place. They also hit the road and shared their expression of God’s extravagant love with a rose for all who desired one. The pictures are below followed by some wonderful testimonials on what God is doing in and through the team.

DAY 1
For 5 of out team the day started out EARLY. Sally O., Dave, Yara, Rachel and Lura met up at LAX around 6:15 AM. I guess if you can’t eat breakfast at Denny’s the airport is the next best thing.
The South-Western team met up at International Falls MN where they met Sally Huggins. Jurgen and Joan, both resident of Canada, secreted the team across the border. OK, they used passports, but secreted sounds so much more cool, doesn’t it?
Flowers were not to be ready for pickup until Monday morning at 9 AM. So the team had plenty of [Read more…]
