While God is central in our lives this will not be a religious blog in the strictest sense. We will focus on many things God is placing squarely before us ranging from light and breezy to intense and personal. But we will also branch out with musings and opinion about the world around us.
While we may not check in daily, we hope to communicate our take on events and viewpoints several times per week. And we promise more than a few laughs along the way.

Our Writers
Sally Klein O’Connor is the President of Improbable People Ministries, a ministry of music and healing founded in 1990. She graduated from Boston’s Berklee College of Music in 1980. Sally has released seven albums and one DVD on the Dusty Records label and is author of the non-fiction book Beauty in the Beast: Breaking the Spell of the Mirror.
Michael O’Connor is the lyricist on many of Sally Klein O’Connor’s recorded songs. He had the good sense to hitch his wagon to Sally’s rising star in 1987 and the couple have raised three daughters together who are listed below. Michael graduated from The School of Hard Knocks and considers his time in Jr. College to be “seven of the best years of my life.” Michael is the author of the non-fiction book Sermon on the Mound: Finding God at the Heart of the Game.
Dusty Rose is the pen name of Dusty Rose O’Connor who lives in Spring, Texas and is looking forward to a Winter wedding with her fiancee, Sergey Tsalkov. She has spent years honing her writing gift in the fanfiction community and hopes one day to break into the field original fiction with her in-progress novel. In addition to writing, she paints and explores a variety of crafting techniques, displayed on her Facebook shop. She currently runs a Patreon for her writing projects.
Bonnie O’Connor live in Southern California and delights in writing new versions of Bible stories. She enjoys humor and is a punster extraordinaire of the lowest order. Bonnie enjoys a lifetime love affair with film and movie stars. Her blog Movie Thoughts can be found on Facebook.
Shannon O’Connor is a promising artist and poet whose work already threatens to surpass her parents in the coming years. In third grade her school, Messiah Lutheran (K-8), named her Best Writer at the annual awards evening. As gifted as she is with the written word Shannon’s true calling may just be in the visual arts where her drawings and paintings depict a maturity far beyond her years. She currently attends high school at Heritage Christian in Los Angeles.
